The French company Technip Energiesa leading engineering and technology company for the
energy transition, closes the financing round by acquiring 16.3% of the Catalan company X1 Wind,
under the guidance of Abogados General Assembly.

Technip Energies is the lead manager of this round of financing, in which also participate
the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund, owned by the European Commission, advised by
the European Investment Bank (EIB) and some of the former shareholders of X1 Wind. Below
the terms of the agreement, the French company then takes 2 of the 9 seats on the board of directors of X1 Wind
of administrators.

The AGM Abogados M&A team, led by the region’s partner Francisco Lacasa Lobera and
the sector manager, Julio Menchaca Quicklywith the support of the lawyer Felix Navas Mirhas
advised Technip Energies in the investment round of X1 Wind, in particular with regard to
negotiation of the investment agreement.

Technip Energies and X1 Wind to collaborate on the development of the first commercial-scale system
prototype demonstrator, as well as on the industrialization and marketing plans for this
